In 2004, Community Coffee launched its first B2C ecommerce store using Microsoft Commerce Server. By 2015, Community Coffee’s version of Commerce Server was outdated and no longer supported. Faced with potentially losing its ecommerce presence, the heritage coffee company needed to find a platform that could easily integrate into its store.

Community Coffee needed two things in a platform: a .NET framework to fit the current tech stack and headless architecture to integrate the platform into its CMS.

Community Coffee soon found out that was a more difficult task than anticipated. The company either encountered large, expensive platforms or cheaper options that were not capable of meeting site requirements. Then Community Coffee found Znode.

Community Coffee launched its new ecommerce store in 2016 on Znode. Znode’s robust REST APIs allowed for seamless integration into Community Coffee’s SAP environment and order fulfillment systems.

Since launching Znode, Community Coffee has experienced a 60% improvement in mobile conversions and a 212% increase in mobile revenue.
