Challenge

DCI Marketing’s core business model of creating and launching storefronts for dealers on behalf of manufacturers is unique. The model required technology that enabled B2B2B ecommerce that its legacy platform did not provide. This impacted speed-to-market and growth.

The business needed an ecommerce platform that would allow its internal team to easily manage product information and catalogs, quickly stand-up digital storefronts on behalf of manufacturer customers, and integrate with its third-party systems. DCI Marketing needed the flexibility to manage each storefront's unique entities, such as themes, catalogs, and pricing while managing all storefronts centrally from a single administration console and database.

Solution

After an extensive request for proposal (RFP) process and reviewing multiple ecommerce platforms, DCI Marketing chose Znode. The company quickly launched an MVP site, allowing dealers of an automobile manufacturer to order from a branded storefront. This MVP effort required very little development support. The site featured personalized logins by account for each dealer and a quoting and estimation tool.

Znode’s multi-store capabilities positioned DCI Marketing to launch additional sites on behalf of its customers. With Znode, the business has a scalable platform for growth that supports its unique business model.
